Eleven riders participated in the first organized trail ride on Saturday, May 15. Despite a forecast of rain, the riders enjoyed a mostly clear day with intervals of bright spring sunshine and all riders returned to base before any of the wet weather occurred. Thanks to eveyone who made the effort to come and try out some of the newly created trails in the Rawdon Hills.
Looking forward to having more participants join us at the upcoming rides - next ride date is Saturday June 12 2010 in The Gore. For more information, directions to the site and start time, check this blog later this month.
The Gore Ride will finish up with a PotLuck meal - bring a prepared dish to share and take part in the apres-ride conversation. (Please keep in mind there are no cooking or refrigeration facilities available at this event).
